November Edit

How has your November been? I’ve decided I’m going to get my arse in gear and start doing a monthly favourites video on my YouTube channel and a chatty catch-up on my blog the last weekend of every month.

November has been a good month, lots of going down to London for different events. Firstly for the Grow Gorgeous event at Duck & Dry and it was lovely to get to relax and have my hair done as Duck & Dry always do the best blow dries. Afterwards I fully enjoyed doing a bit of shopping down Oxford Street enjoying the Christmas lights.

I headed to Yspa with Sian to do our first ever Instagram takeover together. It was so nice relaxing in the spa and taking lots of nice images for their Instagram. We even got to pick a gift from the gift shop so we both picked an Elemis candle which smells just like Christmas.

I went to an Influencer presentation in London all about Instagram ads and I learnt so much! I came away buzzing and feeling excited about 2018. I also learnt what brands are really looking for from content creators, and the next day I came home and learnt how to make a cinemagraph! A few days later I headed back down to London to meet Maria for the New Look SS18 press day. It made me excited for Spring/Summer as there’s so many lovely new pieces coming our way. Then it was back down to London for the Cambridge Satchel launch of their new lifestyle range. The range includes the Cambridge Candle, Reed Diffuser and Cashmere Scarfs. After Cambridge Satchel Maria and I headed to the Nasty Gal Pop Up store to meet Albertine and Katie, where we had a great time browsing the clothes and listening to live music. I also vlogged the very busy week!

Last week was a lot quieter and my mum and I headed away for two nights to Gloucestershire to catch up with family. It was lovely heading to the countryside – I had a little bit of work to do but we mainly relaxed. It was lovely catching up with my mum and having lots of girly giggles.

I ended November with the last SS18 press day which was with Jigsaw. It was the first ever event/press day I attended on my own which was pretty scary but in the end it was okay! I was so excited about this one as Jigsaw was the first company I worked for back when I was 16 and needed a weekend job. After going into Jigsaw recently and falling in love with half of their stock I was excited to see what’s coming out for SS18. I fell in love with this stripy dress and handbag!

Wow, that was a busy November! I’m sure December is going to be just as busy with the lead up to Christmas. I’m trying to decide if I do vlogmas or not! What do you think?
