Hey! If you’re new here I’m Sophie, as you can guess from my blog name!

Back in Feb 2016, I decided to start my blog to share the things I love and the places I explore. Being dyslexic has always made me question my writing and it’s always made me worry that what I write may not be up to the standards of others, or that I won’t be good enough. However, something in my mind kept telling me that I should be sharing my ideas and new experiences with people so that hopefully others can enjoy and benefit from them. Also, why should something so tiny put me off!?

So instead of seeing it as a disadvantage, it just means I have to work that little bit harder (and also keep my boyfriend sweet so I can keep asking him to proofread what I write!). It’s amazing to see how many successful people are dyslexic, and I’ve decided that it’s not going to hold me back from doing what I feel passionate about any longer.

For quite a few years now I’ve been enjoying creating content, and I’ve had some amazing opportunities come my way. I never would have thought back in 2016 that turning this little blog into my full-time job with a little bit of freelance on the side would be possible!

Thank you so much for reading. Oh, and if you’ve made it this far… I’m also on YouTube too!
