Friday Fitness Week 3

Run One – 2nd April

Waking up with the sun shining on this morning definitely helped motivate me get out of bed rather than having a lazy Saturday morning!

It was a really good run and in total we ran for 9 minutes. I’m glad I left my hoodie at home as it was soooo hot! This run reminded me that summer is on its way and that we’re (very) slowly moving away from the rainy grey horrible weather we always end up with! It was certainly a more pleasant run than the one I did when we had Storm Katie!!

Run Two – 4th April

I was looking forward to this run all day but as I was driving home from work I could see ominous black clouds, and the minute I walked in the door it was pouring down! But I wasn’t going to let it stop me, and luckily it stopped just as I was leaving… yay!!! After dodging puddles, having wet feet and aching legs, run 2 of week 3 was complete. It’s definitely starting to get hard!

Run Three – 6th April

The only thing that kept me going on the run this time was knowing that I was going out afterwards with some friends, so I could have a glass of wine as a treat (it was my lovely friend’s leaving do). I wouldn’t usually be drinking on a Wednesday night I promise! I don’t have to much to say about this run other than having to stop briefly to take some photos of the gorgeous sun disappearing as it was getting darker. I hope you enjoy the photos!

Next stop, week 4 of the NHS Couch to 5K program… wish me luck!
