I’m probably the worst person for buying clothes in the supermarket! To be honest, I never really think to look at the clothes section of supermarkets and I usually do my food shopping online now! But the other week I saw a girl wearing a rather nice bardot top and I had to ask her were it was from!
I hate asking people stuff like that, but luckily she was really friendly and had already said hi to me anyway. She was walking her dogs at a country park and you know how people at country parks are, they’re so friendly and say hi to everyone!
So this lovely bardot top was from TU by Sainsbury’s and I decided to go there that very day to find out if they still sell them (I hadn’t asked the girl how old it was, whoops!). It was £16 so I was slightly disappointed that it wasn’t a massive bargain compared to high street clothing stores. I think it was my reminder why I don’t shop in supermarkets for clothes — sometimes it’s worth spending that little bit extra for the quality!
I’m so glad I decided to buy it as it’s comfortable and I love the black and white. It reminds me of a dress I’d seen in Kate Spade and Sainsbury’s also had a dress that’s very similar, so I may go back and try it on!
It’s the perfect top for our mixed English weather — perfect to pair with black skinnies or denim shorts!
