So back in March M bought me the Pure Clay Washes for my birthday. I’d had my eye on them for a while and knew I wanted to do a blog review on them. Well, they’ve been sat in the “to photograph” pile for quite a while but I finally got around to photographing them, which means I finally got a chance to use them!
If you’re a blogger you’ll know the struggle of having to wait to take photos before using anything right!? It can’t only be me surely?! ?
I had the L’Oréal Pure Clay masks and really loved them (I blogged about them here so I was really interested in trying the Pure Clay Washes. The range is made up of three washes, the Glow Scrub, Detox Wash and Purity Wash.
This detox wash includes 3 clays and charcoal, which is known to act as a magnet to draw out impurities. I have to say this is my least favourite of the range as I find it leaves my face feeling dry. It’s also quite a watery product whereas the mask version of this is a nice thick product.
The purity wash includes eucalyptus along with 3 clays. The clay is light and foamy and helps mattify skin and reduce impurities, oil and shine. Perfect if you find your skin is oily in the warmer months. I feel like this is the wash I’ve needed in my routine the most as recently as I’ve been really oily.
The glow scrub contains red algae plus 3 clays which are known for brightening. This one is my favourite out of them all. A scrub makes it feel like I’m really giving my face a proper deep clean. I love how my skin feels so soft and more awake after using it.
I’ve really enjoyed using the 3 clay washes, especially the Glow Scrub and Purity Wash. They’ve got me out of the routine of cleansing wipes and I highly recommend you check them out!
