My hair can be pretty flat and dull sometimes and it needs all the help it can get with volume. So when John Frieda offered to send me the Luxurious Volume range I was super happy to try them out, anything to give my hair more volume is more than welcome!
I have to change up my shampoo and conditioner quite regularly as for some reason my hair get greasy quickly if I stick to the same shampoo consistently. I really enjoyed using the John Frieda shampoo, I didn’t have to wash my hair daily like I do with some shampoos and I found it made my hair feel bouncy and fuller!
I have to admit it’s taken me 26 years to try mousse! I’ve always had it in my mind that it leaves your hair sticky, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. After drying I cant even feel there’s any product in my hair. I’m glad I’ve finally tried mousse and can definitely see myself using it more often.
This is a semi-permanent treatment that penetrates your hair to thicken individual fibres. You use it every 2 to 3 washes and you’re meant to leave it on for 3-5minutes. When I’ve used it I’ve been in the shower so I’m pretty sure mine got washed away much quicker, 3-5 minutes is a long time to keep your head out of the shower! I think I’m going to give this a go next time I’m washing my hair in the bath as it will be much easier to give it time to work!
Overall I really liked the John Frieda range. It’s not a range I’ve reached for in the past however I’m glad I got to try them out as I’m now a huge fan, and can see myself using the shampoo and conditioner plenty!
