So I recently did a blog post talking about going Capsule Wardrobe Style, and a few of you asked for a more blog posts about what’s going in my wardrobe. So this week let’s chat about STRIPES! Yesss… I pretty much can’t live without them in my wardrobe however I have been good and put quite a few in the for sale pile. You might spot them over on my depop account, head over and give me a follow.
Stripe tops are such a staple in any wardrobe, however, I knew I had too many in mine so I have had to kiss goodbye to some which weren’t so loved anymore. I narrowed it down to 7, well 8 if we count my cosy at home one too! I have updated a few of my stripes in the 8, I added two new ones from the John Lewis Loved & Found range which is a section on the website made up from John Lewis’ favourite new and contemporary brands. You can discover the selection in Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool and Online.
‘Discovered. Loved. Curated. All here to be found.’ By John Lewis
I really like this idea, it’s perfect for myself who has just switched over to a capsule wardrobe and I’m now looking for quality pieces which are going to be loved in my wardrobe. I picked two pieces from a brand called People Tree which is a brand I had never heard of until I was introduced to the Loved & Found range. These two stripes are going to be well worn in my wardrobe I can tell the quality is great as the material is slightly thicker than your average top. I love the black stripe top dressed down or dressed up with a pair of heals and my Bvgarli handbag. My Hello tee is the perfect everyday tee I can tell it’s going to be well worn.
As I go on through my capsule wardrobe ways any stripes which aren’t worn regularly will be popping up on my depop. For for the time being I’m happy with 8, which still seem crazy too many.
Having a capsule wardrobe has completely changed the way I shop and I have saved hours of browsing online. Have I tempted you to start a capsule wardrobe?
I have been gifted the two top from the John Lewis Loved & Found range. All review and opinions are my own. This post used affiliate links please see my disclaimer for more information.
