I was thinking that it’s time I do an updated skincare routine post, so this is my evening routine! I haven’t done one for a while and I’ve actually gotten into a really good habit of doing my skincare routine before getting too tired and just falling asleep with my a full face of makeup on!!
I start with a Cowshed skincare product as I’m a big fan of the brand, and last year I was lucky enough for Michael to have bought me their advent calendar! I’ve been using their Kahai Wonder Balm recently which is great to remove the first layer of makeup before cleansing my face. The balm contains Kahai Nut Oil, Avocado Butter and Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil, which is all super great for your skin as there’s no nasty ingredients. I love how it melts my make up away, and it then feels like my cleanser can really work. I also love the travel size one as it’s perfect to pack on the go! Also, hot tip, it’s also great for split ends as an overnight hair mask!
I then used my Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Melting Cleanser which took me a while to get used to at first because it changes into an oil as it melts onto your face, but then as soon as it hits the water it changes to a milky texture. I have to say though I love it, and I’m near the bottom of this one so I’ll be ordering another one for sure! The cleanser contains Rosehip, Cherry Seed and Sweet Almond Oil for help with hydrating your skin! Also a big win for me is that it contains Vitamin C and Vitamin E which is always a plus!
For my eyes, I use the Nivea Eye Make-Up Remover Double Effect which is one you have to give a shake before using it. I find it melts away all my eye makeup quick and easy! Sometimes finding an eye makeup remover that doesn’t sting my eyes is difficult so I’m glad this one is nice and gentle.
The toner I’ve been using (and smells amazing) is the L’oreal Age Perfect Refreshing Toner. I guess I’m at the age to start being more concerned over aging! I saw this one on offer and thought “oh I will give it a go”, and I’m glad I did as I actually really love it!
Lastly, I finish with the Liz Earle Superskin™ Moisturiser with Natural Neroli. I’ve been using this moisturiser for a while now and I like how nourishing and thick it is and not watery.
That’s it from me guys! What are your favourite skincare products? I’m always on the hunt to try out new products so let me know what ones you love!
