I don’t think 2018 was my year for reading, I pretty much only read one book and that was Lily Pebbles book called The F Word (which was a really good book). In 2019 I want to read more, so today I thought I would share my reading list for 2019… with quite a few books which were on my 2018 reading list which didn’t happen!

The first book on my list is Normal People by Sally Rooney, which I have started and made progress! I really wanted to finish it by the end of January which I mega failed at but there’s hope for the end of February! My next read which I’m dying to get started is Anna Newton’s new book An Edited Life – I have been reading Anna’s blog and watching her YouTube for years, I love her style and personality and have been lucky enough to meet her twice and she really is lovely in person! So I’m super excited to get started on her book for a more edited life. I already do a capsule wardrobe because I saw her do one on her channel and it’s changed my way of shopping and wearing clothes!

These two books are two from last year that I meant to read however somehow time just got away… they are Forever Outnumbered by Fathers Of Daughters (I watch his Instagram stories he is soooo FUNNY) and The Multi-Hyphen Method by Emma Gannon.

The last 3 are The Tattooist Of Auschwitz which I saw on the Waterstones website as I was browsing before Christmas and it sounded like a really good read so it went straight on my Christmas list! Next up is The Tall Man and I actually know the author! I’ve never read one of her books before so I’m excited to read it, even more so because I know who’s written it, she’s my only author friend!

Lastly is The Sister by Louise Jensen, this book was a surprise present which my friend sent me this year. She’s sending her friends books through the post as a bit of happy mail rather than just receiving bills and boring post! It’s such a good idea!

So I have 7 books to read in 12 months, wish me luck! What’s on your reading list this year!?
